The key to entertainment is spending time on yourself in a relaxing place. Comprehensive integrated resorts have been launched into many beautiful places such as Jeju island, Korea. Jeju Island

South Korea is home to a number of foreigner-only casinos. Its location makes it an ideal spot for international gamblers, with only distributed legal alternatives in the region.

After the success of the opening projects for two of the largest integrated resorts (IR) within 6 years, the traditional style of gaming resorts has advanced to be more human. As per the individual travel purpose, international integrated resorts provide end-to-end benefits of loyalty programs, and system maintenance options of the spending rewards on the top brands of food beverage, outlets, retails, Hotel stays, and casinos.

In terms of gaming technology, a developed mobile app & kiosk platform allows customers to be rewarded from gaming with real time benefits on business operations. An incredible number of IRs have been implemented for a large number of oversea customers to visit in the future.

Most Challenging Pandemic Period (We move on while everything else is unknown)

During the COVID-19 pandemic, project management of the IR opening on schedule was extremely challenging.

Many things were unknown such as system integration, budget, travel restriction, manpower, and vendor services.

We evaluated all IT products to be integrated with each other, found suitable targets for automation and orchestration to eliminate manual work, and repeated tasks to release human capacity. A gaming experience of over 15 years defined the most valuable investment in this resort. Saving is the key to all unpredictable difficulty to capture the essential items and release the assumption and prediction.

Nothing can be predicted in the past few years as we have no idea when normal wok will be resumed. However, everything needs to be move on and we can’t wait for good news. Quick resolution is always the sign of IT. We change what is possible, so our CEO is getting the boat to move forward.

The Korea government announced that with long periods of travel restriction, none of the oversea vendors are allowed to travel base on their own policy in some counties. Remotely work environment it’s important tools to fulfill this project. We did amazing work with vendor implemented fully IT systems without any vendors on site. Its first experience with a property opening of a size of 1600 hotel rooms, 14 dining & outlets, 160 tables, and 300 gaming machines.

We evaluated all IT products to be integrated with each other, found suitable targets for automation and orchestration to eliminate manual work, and repeated tasks to release human capacity

Hiring who’s willing to learn instead of someone who is experienced in Korea comes with the difficulty to find an experienced candidate from the past, language or localization. At the end of result, my own experience and knowledge has actually helped a lot of local staffs. We built a complete team structure here, educated by ITIL standard.

ITSM is the best practice for organizations to manage the delivery of end to end IT services, especially applied into a large of operations like resorts over hundreds of employees, and multi-system accesses control by active directory. ITIL defines three levels of SLA’s; service level, response strategy which improves time management, and more efficient and productivity.

That’s the reason the government announced to attract more foreigner candidates to work in South Korea.
